Project Description

The Urbayiti – Urban Governance and Resilient Cities programme is a Haitian government programme funded by the European Union and co-funded by Expertise France and Spanish cooperation. Its aim is to contribute to Haiti’s economic and social development and build the resilience of urban populations by improving city management and quality of life.

• Updating urban diagnostics through a participatory process

• Producing zoning plans and their regulations through a training / action process with local stakeholders (municipalities, decentralized administrations, civil society)
  
• Setting up and facilitating a training plan for local stakeholders
  
• Producing 4 municipal decrees for application of the Town Planning, Extension and Improvement Programmes (PAEEV)
