Project Description

The project to open and clean up the priority neighbourhoods of Antananarivo (DAQP), better known as « Lalankely », aims to improve the living conditions of nearly one million inhabitants by improving health, mobility, safety and access to employment.

The programme seeks to rehabilitate local mobility infrastructure in the priority neighbourhoods identified throughout Antananarivo (alleys – carriageways – footbridges) and improve public health and community infrastructure. The project especially focuses on disadvantaged neighbourhoods where infrastructure currently fails to meet the residents’ day-to-day needs and expectations.
