  • Reviewing the available regional-level data available on hazards, infrastructure and its operational status, and on risk management processes currently used by service providers
  • Segmenting water and sanitation networks and describing their operational status; developing analytical models for describing and presenting hazards, vulnerability and risk; producing a cartographic atlas broken down by region and by provider
  • Organizing field survey campaigns (4 teams x 16 days) to inform the assessment: conducting surveys of non-geo-referenced infrastructure, determining its vulnerability, carrying out participatory risk mapping with local communities
  • Submitting a natural risks assessment study, set out by region and by service provider, and providing geo-referenced databases
  • Organizing a collaborative, multi-stakeholder workshop to brainstorm potential prevention and reduction measures
  • Formulating risk prevention and mitigation plans, set out by region and by operator, which included a budgeted and timed action plan, a monitoring framework, and an investment plan
