Clémence Foreau holds an engineering degree from Polytech Tours, specialising in urban planning and the environment. Throughout her studies, she focused on the urban challenges faced by developing countries. Before joining Urbaconsulting in 2022, Clémence led projects within NGOs (Urbanistes Sans Frontières, ADESAF) and consulting firms, working on improving living conditions in informal settlements (RHI/RHS operations, NPNRU, etc.), urban planning, access to essential public services, and assessing and reducing urban vulnerability in Africa (Senegal, Togo), Asia (India), and similar contexts (Mayotte). Convinced that working in partnership with local resources and stakeholders is essential to developing projects that are adapted to on-the-ground realities and foster knowledge sharing, she has developed expertise in co-constructing projects through citizen engagement. As a result, Clémence possesses the knowledge and skills required to implement sustainable, resilient, and locally tailored projects.
